TRIBUTES
Firstly, glory to God and all blessings
to him.
Quote:'Some say that life is a gift.
A time to learn and rethink what was a thought in our minds. Some say that life is a simple series of minutes, moments, hours, days, weeks, years, seconds and time. A space to live and then to die.
I say yes. Yes, Lord. Yes to all the stuff in between.' - Jill Scott
It's the stuff in between that we shared together that means so much to me.
The memories that I have can never be erased - they will be stored forever in my thoughts. Our holidays together: Jamaica, Italy, France and Malta. Regular Sunday praise and worship; time spent working at Brook Hospital (how we laughed, and got up to mischief ); you were by my side for so many special occasions.
My special friend. I always felt safe when speaking with you. Not having to weigh my thoughts, nor measure my words. We'd talk for hours, sometimes keeping what was worth keeping to discuss (or argue about) for the next day.
We stuck by each other like sisters.
The seed of our friendship was planted on liking each other, a mutual gratitude, and respect for the many adventures we had along life's journey. Those roots will never be pulled up.
You meant so much to me, and this is definitely not the end. You've simply crossed the road to the other side.
I'm thankful to have shared so many memories with you, and I pray that you now draw closer to God and spend more and more time in his presence.
As you close both eyes my much loved friend, please rest in peace, with all our love.
Blossom and family.
